Ben has worked as a fundraiser for over 12 years working for respected charities including The National Deaf Children’s Society, Arthritis Research UK, Diabetes UK and more recently as Senior Philanthropy Manager at Anthony Nolan. He has a successful track record in securing six figure gifts, leading on strategy development, prospect research, fundraising product development and influencing senior management teams on their Major Gift fundraising.
In his spare time he teaches yoga and wellbeing to a range of clients. He is trustee of a small organisation that promotes yoga and wellbeing and is a qualified Yoga Therapist for children with special needs. Ben created Transform Fundraising in response to a growing demand for affordable advice and support for small and medium sized non-profits and community groups. At Transform Fundraising we believe successful consultancy and fundraising rely on the same thing – building amazing rapport within our team and with our partners.
Nikki joined Washington, D.C. based consulting firm, Odell, Simms & Lynch as a Research Analyst and Account Coordinator in 2011. During her tenure, key clients included ChildFund International, KidSave International, the National Museum of Americans in Wartime, and the Eisenhower Memorial. Working directly with senior leadership and the boards of trustees, Nikki was responsible for all aspects of the fundraising process, with a focus on raising 6-, 7-, and 8-figure gifts. In addition to identifying and profiling new Major Gift prospects and board networks, Nikki developed and managed fundraising strategy, produced marketing collateral and proposals, and, side-by-side with clients, led the cultivation and solicitation of gifts from high net-worth individuals trusts and foundations.
Nikki crafted prospect management systems that are at the forefront of best practice in the prospect research community – simple, stream-lined, and easily accessible for fundraisers that simultaneously increase and improve data available to researchers for analysis and informative reporting and strategy. She genuinely enjoys tailoring her service and excels at anticipating client-needs and proactively addressing areas for growth.
Sophie has over twelve years strategic marketing, PR and comms experience in the media, broadcast, digital and tech sectors, running full service integrated marketing functions. She remains a key member of the senior management team in several organisations with a startup mentality and big growth plans. She thrives in these environments, putting her hands to the pump in various different capacities, but always with strategic communications, business development and fundraising at the core.
Sophie has a passion for creative storytelling and in recent years she’s focused on content, marketing, PR and SEO; designing and delivering these strategies for clients in a variety of sectors. A natural advocate and spokesperson, she is a confident communicator, able to deliver key messages accurately and eloquently.
John built his career in the charity sector creating film assets for household name charities including the Royal Zoological Society and Diabetes UK before moving on to work for a large international broadcaster. John has experience of shooting appeal videos for fundraising events and campaigns helping charities maximise their donations. He also has extensive experience in producing film to demonstrate the impact of an organisation’s work helping ‘bring to life’ projects that donors may not have the opportunity to see in person.
John can manage all stages of the creative process from concept and storyboard development to editing and distribution. He takes the time to really clearly understand an organisation and their objectives. His excellent ‘camera side’ manner puts film participants instantly at ease leading to sincere emotionally engaging footage.
